Secondary School
A forward-thinking secondary school approached us to help maintain a competitors rainwater harvesting system after hearing about our expertise in maximising water savings for the long-term. This came in the form of our popular bi-annual service package.
On our most recent site visit, our engineer noticed that the water quality in the tank was poor. Our engineer suggested that our tank cleaning service would be beneficial for the site to help restore a higher quality of water. To restore high water quality, it is recommended that all tanks should be cleaned every 2 years in order to comply with the British Standards.
Furthermore, our engineers assessed that the original control panel had come to the end of life which was starting to impact rainwater readings. So, to improve the reliability of the competitor’s system, we replaced the control panel to a Stormsaver panel.
It is evident that our work on site has resulted in positive impacts. Since the system has been commissioned it has recycled 10,800m3 of rainwater. This is equivalent to over 100,000 bathtubs! This has also meant that they have been able to save 3078 KgCO2e. These figures reflect that experts at Stormsaver can help to improve systems that are not performing as they should.
