How Rainwater Harvesting Works
Rainwater harvesting works by collecting rainfall which lands on the roof area. Rainwater is first channelled into roof downpipes.
After the roof downpipes, the rainwater hits a pre-tank filter which removes leaves and larger debris from the water.
From the pre-tank filter, rainwater enters the main storage tank via an inlet calmer which prevents the disturbance of fine sediment within the base of the tank.
Submersible pumps deliver the sustainable water supply into the builing and through a control panel before being boosted to usage points.
