Stadium Success for Stormsaver Rainwater Harvesting Specialists
We are beyond excited to share with you that earlier this year Stormsaver were commissioned to provide a bespoke rainwater harvesting system for the Iconic Commonwealth Games venue, The Alexander Stadium.
Our Commercial Sales Manager commented on the project, “It was great to be involved in a project such as this, which delivered a great commonwealth game and has left a lasting legacy for the local community”.
We installed our advanced Triplex non-pressurised rainwater harvesting system at the stadium. This was recommended due to a large non-potable water supply being required to meet demand at the site. The tank installed provided a sustainable water supply to toilets for 18,000 people. Our expert team recommended that the Triplex was best suited due to the unique automatic backwashsystem integrated which would help to reduce maintenance requirements as the unit would self-clean.
We supplied a bespoke rainwater harvesting system which allowed the stadium to utilise their large roof area, in turn reducing their mains water consumption and their carbon footprint. From the outset we ensured complete reliability, giving our client confidence of smooth operations during the Commonwealth Games and beyond. As well as providing the system, our maintenance team were on-hand throughout the prestigious event, giving the client complete peace of mind.
Our team here at Stormsaver developed a strong relationship with the team at Alexander Stadium. Here’s what the Operations Manager had to say, “Stormsaver provided a bespoke solution for Alexander Stadium toilet and urinal flushing. The original concept quote was clear and precise, with detailed manufacturers literature explaining how the equipment worked. The delivery periods were met in line with the Construction period. Equipment on site is finished to very good standard and I would recommend Stormsaver to other Contractors, looking for a bespoke solution for Rainwater Harvesting on large commercial buildings.”
